The motto "inhabiting the public space", which is transversal to the entire history of the festival, was the starting point for the design of the visual identity of the 2022 edition.
We found in the sun and the ephemeral shapes left by its shadows a metaphor for the idea of inhabiting. Both through the relationship we created with the new ways of seeing the light that came in through the windows of our houses during confinement, and in its presence during the act of reclaiming the street, that was once again ours.
We drew the names of the artists with shadows, and they inhabited the village of Cem Soldos in the months leading up to the festival.
Light and shadow were the materials for the design of the visual communication of Bons Sons 2022.
Light as a focus of aggregation and attraction of masses. Shadow as the dearest place among those who inhabit the hot afternoons of Cem Soldos during the festival.
We designed the division and the connection between these two opposing ideas. Between the environments of day and night, of light and shadow, party and rest. We exposed the shapes of insects and reptiles, inhabitants of the landscape. The insects that inhabit the white of the light spots projected on the walls at night, and the reptiles that inhabit the sun spots painted on our streets.

FOR THE CREATION OF PUBLIC SPACE
We defend a public space for all. Increasing the ego and the sense of belonging is essential to human and territorial development. Creating meeting spaces is to create space for sharing and curiosity about each other. It is urgent to activate, program and inhabit the street.
WE HAVE THE STREET
One of the points of the BONS SONS Manifesto materialized in writing in 2019, as part of the celebration of the festival's 10 editions, and which defines the mission and reality of the village of Cem Soldos and the BONS SONS festival.
